From there Mark consulted on a variety of Resolution Trust Corporation clients with the collapse of the Savings and loan Industry in the early 1990’s including loss mitigation at Glendale Federal Savings Bank.
Mark is known for simplifying complex tax strategies into clear, actionable insights. His current focus is on retroactive tax planning leveraging ITC’s and structuring tax efficient investments into data centers campuses powered and cooled by renewable energy sources.
Mark is a frequent national speaker and continuing education provider for CPA firms, architecture and design-build teams, and energy-focused trade associations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and has also served as a Guest Lecturer on Cost Segregation at University of Southern California’s Master of Business Taxation (MBT) Program.
